With camera in hand, Klein sets out on a quest that leads him from Portland's Jewish leaders to outliers, to artists, scholars, parents, their kids - and finally back to the Brooklyn housing projects where he was raised, to figure out what it means to be a Jew in Portland, Oregon today.
